HD Brows course - what will I learn?

On our course, we’ll cover all the HD Brows techniques you’ll need to know to create bespoke brows for every client, which we like to call the ‘7 steps of HD Brows’. Combining theory and practical application, you’ll leave confident and ready to start transforming eyebrows.

Consultation

Creating bespoke brows all starts with a thorough consultation. We’ll teach you the key to finding out exactly what your clients want and how you can create it.

Eyebrow tinting

Eyebrow colour is just as individual as shape, which is why you’ll master colour theory and how to mix a tint colour that’s unique to each client.

Eyebrow waxing

Waxing isn’t just about hair removal; it can be used to totally transform the shape of an eyebrow. We’ll make sure you leave an eyebrow waxing expert.

Eyebrow threading

This ancient method of hair removal is incredibly popular for hair removal; we use it to removing any fair, fluffy hair around the brow.

Finishing

From tweezing to trimming to make up application, we’ll show you our top tips and tricks to creating those perfect arches.

HD Brows training FAQs

How old do I have to be to train?

You must be at least 16 to train with us independently providing you get parental consent. If you’re training under an account holder or salon, you can train from the age of 16. These ages are subject to insurance policies.

I’ve already done other eyebrow training, do I have to complete the full course?

The treatment and hair depilation techniques we teach are often very different to those that have been taught on other more traditional courses. We tend to find that those who haven’t had any previous training or experience find it easier to learn.

What happens after my HD Brows training?

Once trained, you have the UK’s most popular brow brand behind you. We have a private Facebook group available to all trained Stylists to showcase their work and request feedback by our elite training team as well as a dedicated sales team available to contact Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.00pm on 01382 206070 or 01382 205025 so no matter your query, we’re here to support you.

How much can I charge for the HD Brows treatment?

Due to the quality and demand for treatment our treatment, we recommend you charge the RRP of £30 for HD Brows treatments.

What’s the difference between HD Brows and microblading?

HD Brows uses a variety of hair removal techniques to create your clients desired brow shape. The treatment lasts around 4-6 weeks and starts from just £30.00 whereas Microblading is a semi-permanent technique that sits under the tattooing family. During microblading, pigment is implanted into the skin with a fine needle to create the look of hair strokes. Microblading usually lasts around 1-3 years and starts at approx £500.

Do I need to train with you in order to offer the HD Brows treatment?

Yes. You cannot, by law, promote and/or sell the HD Brows treatment unless you have completed our official training course. Please also be aware you can only train in HD Brows at any of our official academies.

Where can I train in HD Brows?

You can train at any of our official academy location based in Leeds, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool and Purley (London).

When will I be qualified?

You will become a qualified HD Brows stylist when you have successfully completed your practical module in one of our official academies.

Do I need to bring my kit on my HD Brows training course?

No, you don’t need to bring your kit along to your practical training day. We’ve got you covered, as all products and relevant treatment PPE will be provided for you at the academy. All you need to bring along is yourself (wearing a face covering) and your training manual.
